It happens for Fedora, for Ubuntu and for all the others distribution. For Ubuntu 17.10, images were submitted to the Ubuntu 17.10 Free Culture Showcase photo pool on Flickr, where all eligible submissions can be found.
I’m proud to announce that a picture made by me was one of the selected images to represent the new default wallpapers in the Ubuntu 17.10 “Artful Aardvark” release.
